| Remarks | The tuition fees above are for the Department of Japanese Communication. For information on tuition fees for the Department of Global Communication and the Department of Global Business, please refer to the Musashino University website. Applicants whose current status of residence is “College Student” or who apply to change their status to “College Student” as a student of Musashino University by April 30, 2026, will have the admissions fee waived. Applicants whose current status of residence is not “College Student” and do not apply for a change of status, or who apply but are not granted the change, will not be exempt from the admissions fee. For the Department of Global Communication, in addition to the above tuition and other fees, all students are required to pay additional study abroad costs. The average study abroad cost for the 2025 academic year was $11,900 (including tuition, materials, accommodation, etc.) and approximately 700,000 yen (for airfare, overseas travel insurance, etc.). Students participating in the mandatory study abroad program will receive a scholarship of 400,000 yen, which will be deducted from Musashino University tuition for the semester abroad (the first semester of the second year).
