Remarks | The amounts above are the tuition fees for the Department of Japanese Communication. For tuition fees for the Department of Global Communication and the Department of Global Business, please refer to the Musashino University website. Musashino University provides a waiver of the admissions fee for applicants whose current status of residence is "College Student" or applicants who apply to change their visa status to "College Student", as a student of Musashino University, by April 30, 2025. Applicants whose current status of residence is not "College Student" and who do not apply for a change of status of residence, as well as applicants who have applied for a change of status of residence but are subsequently denied a change of status of residence will not be exempt from paying the admissions fee. In addition to tuition and other fees listed above, students in the Department of Global Communication are also required to pay additional expenses for the "All Students Study Abroad" program. The average amount for the 2023 academic year was approximately $20,000 (for tuition fees, educational resources, and expenses incurred during students' stay) as well as approximately 700,000yen (for airfares, overseas travel insurance, etc.). Students participating in the "All Students Study Abroad" program will receive a scholarship to the amount of 400,000 yen, which will be deducted from their Musashino University tuition fees during the study abroad period (in the first semester of their second year).
