 (i) have taken one of the following Japanese language examinations and are recognized as having sufficient Japanese language ability to complete the courses.
<Japanese language examinations>
 - have passed level N2 or above of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), conducted by the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES) and the Japan Foundation.
 - have scored 220 or above in Reading Comprehension, Listening, and Listening-Reading Comprehension, and 25 or above in Writing in the Japanese as a Foreign Language subject of the Examination for the Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU), administered by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). (Only EJU scores obtained from the 2nd session, held in November 2023, and the 1st session, held in June 2024 will be accepted.)
 (ii) Applicants who have completed secondary education in a country designated by this University, or those who have taken one of the following English examinations and are recognized as having English language proficiency. (Only for applicants to the Faculty of Global Communication).
<English Tests> *CEFR B2 or higher. Qualifications and examinations must be obtained after April 2022:
 - Cambridge English Language Test, 160 or above
