[On-campus scholarships]
Scholarship for privately financed international students with pre-enrollment reservation
Eligible students: Newly enrolled privately financed international students with excellent academic records and who meet the financial criteria established by Kansai University.
(Privately financed international students are those holding the residence status of “College Student.”)
*As a general rule, the scholarship is granted to all students in the doctoral program, second half.
Period of payment: 1 year
Amount: Varies depending on the year of enrollment, faculty, and graduate school.
Scholarship for privately financed international students

[External scholarships (recommended by the university)]
These are scholarships provided by external foundations and other organizations to privately financed international students, for which Kansai University recommends eligible candidates to the foundation. For each scholarship, the university publicly recruits applicants internally, then selects candidates based on academic performance and the scholarship’s recommendation requirements before recommending them to the foundation.

Some are announced by the university, while others are obtained and applied for by students on their own.

A wide variety of events specifically for international students are held.
Program contents:

・How to take part in internships at Japanese companies

For international students aiming to find employment at Japanese companies, the program provides support in cooperation with companies, neighboring universities, and local governments. Its curriculum focuses on corporate-exchange events, including business Japanese education, career education, and internships.
The Japanese-language instruction is oriented toward business settings and aims to develop job-ready skills immediately after joining a company.
