Aichi Shukutoku University is a comprehensive university, with 12 faculties and 2 campuses, located in Aichi Prefecture.

■The Department of Global Culture and Communication in the Faculty of Global Culture and Communication offers two majors: a Major of Language Studies and a Major of Multicultural and Tourism Studies. In addition to acquiring knowledge about different cultures, students can improve their communication capabilities using various languages and improve their analytical abilities through fieldwork and other activities.

■The Faculty of Business is based on the four areas of business administration, commerce, accounting, and economics, and actively incorporates active learning to provide students with both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills that can be applied in the real world of business.

■The Faculty of Global Communication provides students with opportunities to acquire advanced English language proficiency, English communication skills, and the ability to find and solve problems, while also studying the essence of communication, Japanese culture and traditions, and world affairs from a variety of perspectives. With a global perspective, the Faculty of Global Communication equips students with the ability to express accurate and persuasive opinions to the world, along with English language proficiency, communication skills, and problem-finding and problem-solving skills that can be applied to any situation.

Features of the Faculty

1.A curriculum that allows you to freely combine various business-related studies. Specialized
subjects are categorized for systematic learning, enabling cross-disciplinary and structured study across multiple fields.

2.Enhanced active learning courses involving collaboration with companies and organizations.
We offer courses providing hands-on business experience. Through corporate analysis and
tackling real-world challenges, you develop practical business skills.

3.The "Applied Skills Development Program" supports students in obtaining accounting, IT and English certifications. Students taking on particularly challenging certification exams may receive subsidies for exam fees if they meet certain conditions.

1. Introduction to Marketing
You can develop the ability to understand markets and consumer needs, and to consider "what sells" and "why it sells." By also learning about the characteristics of the Japanese market, you will gain a practical perspective.

2. Business Strategy I & II, Corporate Strategy
Learn theories of corporate profitability, growth and decline, as well as business strategy, and acquire skills to analyse companies and industries.


3. Corporate Analysis Project
In this practical class, students analyse the financial data of listed companies in the Tokai region, then evaluate and present their findings to company representatives.

Business Innovation Course

This course employs a curriculum that is designed to enable students to systematically learn basic theory as well as planning and productivity skills. Students actively learn the process of creating hits and the structure of corporate management strategies in a group work format, with "marketing" and "management strategy" as the pillars of the curriculum. As the culmination of their studies, all students participate in and are involved in the planning of industry-academia collaborations with companies and organizations in the "Innovation and Challenge Program".

Business Accounting Course

While studying a wide range of subjects related to bookkeeping and accounting, the so-called languages of business, students will obtain a deep understanding of corporate financial statements and analyze business performance and financial conditions. By utilizing the Accounting Education Center on campus, students can efficiently work towards obtaining bookkeeping qualifications and becoming accounting professionals.

Global business course

After acquiring the specialized knowledge necessary for the field of global business with a focus on economics, including international economics and international finance, all students take on the challenge of practical internships at global companies in Japan and overseas to train them to be ready to hit the ground running in the business world. With a view to playing an active role in global society in their future, students learn English for use in business situations, such as presentations and document preparation, in small groups starting in their first year.
