Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) You must pass the N1 (Level 1) or N2 (Level 2) examination.
Remarks Eligibility for application requires having taken one of the following tests—TOEFL iBT® (including Home Edition), IELTS™, or TOEIC® L&R—on or after November 2024.

Applications must be submitted via the Toyo University admissions information website.
Please be sure to review the entrance examination guidelines before applying.

Eligibility requires a score of 300 or higher in the Japanese section (combined total of Reading Comprehension, Listening Comprehension, and Listening-Reading Comprehension) of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)—specifically, the exams held in November 2024, June/November 2025, or June 2026—OR passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at the N2 level or higher.
Note: Applicants to the Faculty of Science and Engineering must have taken all EJU subjects required for the examination.

Applicants must have taken the TOEIC® L&R, TOEFL iBT® (including TOEFL iBT® Home Edition), or IELTS™ test on or after November 2024.
