To be eligible to apply under Type B, applicants must have scored 300 points or higher in the Japanese section (combined total of Reading Comprehension, Listening Comprehension, and Listening-Reading Comprehension) of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) administered in November 2024, June/November 2025, or June 2026; alternatively, they must have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at level N2 or higher.

[Admissions Eligible for the "Toyo University SDGs International Student Ambassador Program"]
This program certifies privately funded international students as "Toyo University SDGs International Student Ambassadors" and provides support—such as assistance with fees and housing—to those who possess the drive and capability to contribute to global society in various ways toward achieving the SDGs, and who commit to engaging in SDG-related activities and initiatives fostering globalization (both on and off campus) after enrollment. <Toyo University SDGs International Student Ambassador Program>
This program is designed for self-financed international students who possess the desire and ability to contribute to global society in various ways to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). After enrolling at Toyo University, these students will engage in SDGs-related activities and global initiatives both within and outside the university.
