The International University of Health and Welfare (IUHW) was founded in Ohtawara City, Tochigi, in 1995. Established as the country’s first comprehensive university of health and welfare, IUHW opened a School of Medicine at its Narita campus in 2017, and opened a new campus in Akasaka in Tokyo in 2018. There are currently 11 undergraduate departments and 26 graduate departments spread across 6 campuses.
One of the main features of IUHW is a multi-job collaborative education that utilizes a wealth of affiliated facilities.
