● Applicants for the Master's Program must, at the time of application, have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at level N2 or higher, OR have taken the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) in November 2024, June 2025, November 2025, or June 2026 and achieved a score of 240 or higher in "Japanese (Reading Comprehension, Listening & Listening-Reading Comprehension)" and 35 or higher in "Japanese (Writing)." ● Applicants to the Graduate School of Arts must contact their prospective academic supervisor prior to applying. Additionally, Master's Program applicants must decide whether they intend to apply for the "Thesis (MA) Course" or the "Creative Work (MFA) Course" at the time of this initial contact (the course selected at application will be the course pursued after enrollment). Please consult the Graduate School of Arts website for information regarding each supervisor's research area and the courses they oversee, and submit a request via the dedicated "Prior Contact Form" during the designated application period: July 6, 2026 (Mon) 10:00 – July 17, 2026 (Fri) 17:00. 3. An annual associate membership fee of ¥10,000 for the Nihon University Alumni Association is required. Additionally, a fee of ¥10,000 covering the first year of full membership must be paid during the final year of the program.
4. Depending on the graduate school, annual fees such as support association fees or maintenance fees (ranging from ¥10,000 to ¥40,000) may be required (as of the 2027 academic year). Please check the guidance page on the online application website for details.
5. To support the infrastructure for education, research, and clinical activities, the university plans to request voluntary contributions to fundraising initiatives after enrollment.
