| Remarks | Applicants whose native language is not Japanese must have passed either the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at level N2 or above, or the Practical Japanese Test (J.TEST) at level A–C with a score of C level (600 points or higher out of 1,000). However, applicants whose native language is Japanese must submit a “Certificate of Consent for Native Japanese Speakers” issued by the Graduate School at the time of application. For the second application period, eligibility is limited to those who hold a valid Japanese residence status under the following conditions: 1.The status of residence must not be “Temporary Visitor.” 2.The period of stay must extend beyond the day after the enrollment procedure deadline for the second application period (i.e., February 28, 2026). Applicants to this Graduate School must obtain a “Pre-Contact Confirmation Form” issued with the approval of their desired academic advisor. To do so, you should consult with your prospective advisor as early as possible and receive approval in order to obtain the confirmation form.
