| 備註 | Applicants whose native language is not Japanese must have passed either the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at level N2 or above, or the Practical Japanese Test (J.TEST) at level A–C with a score of C level (600 points or higher out of 1,000). However, applicants whose native language is Japanese must submit a “Certificate of Consent for Native Japanese Speakers” issued by the Graduate School at the time of application. For the second application period, eligibility is limited to those who hold a valid Japanese residence status under the following conditions: １．The status of residence must not be “Temporary Visitor.” ２．The period of stay must extend beyond the day after the enrollment procedure deadline for the second application period (i.e., February 28, 2026). Applicants to this Graduate School must obtain a “Pre-Contact Confirmation Form” issued with the approval of their desired academic advisor. To do so, you should consult with your prospective advisor as early as possible and receive approval in order to obtain the confirmation form. For details, please check the website of the College of Commerce (https://www.bus.nihon-u.ac.jp/graduate_school/) or contact the Office of Academic Affairs, College of Commerce, via email (bus.gsb@nihon-u.ac.jp). Please note that it may take time to issue the Pre-Contact Confirmation Form. Therefore, you must apply for “Research Content Confirmation” no later than August 2 (Sat.) for the first period and November 20 (Thu.) for the second period. Applicants who require a qualification screening for admission must apply in advance to the Entrance Examination Section of the Graduate School of Commerce (Office of Academic Affairs). For details on the graduate school entrance qualification screening, please check the “Graduate School Entrance Qualification Screening” page on the Nihon University International Students Admissions website (https://www.nihon-u.ac.jp/admission_info/application/international/screening/) and download the necessary documents. If you do not receive the results of the qualification screening at least three days before the application deadline, please contact the Office of Academic Affairs, College of Commerce (bus.gsb@nihon-u.ac.jp). Applicants whose native language is Japanese, or those who are uncertain about their native language status, are requested to contact the Office of Academic Affairs, College of Commerce (bus.gsb@nihon-u.ac.jp) by August 2 (Sat.) for the first period or November 20 (Thu.) for the second period via email. １．A fee of 10,000 yen for the Nihon University Alumni Association Associate Membership must be paid each year. In addition, in the year of graduation (completion), a fee of 10,000 yen for the first year of Regular Membership must be paid. ２．Depending on the graduate school, fees for the Supporters’ Association and/or Maintenance Association, etc., ranging from 10,000 yen to 40,000 yen per year (for Academic Year 2026), must also be paid.
