| Remarks | Oral Examination ・For the Faculty of Literature, Department of English, oral examinations will be conducted in both Japanese and English. ・For the Faculty of Literature, Department of Cultural History, questions will be asked after confirming whether you wish to pursue the Japanese Cultural History Course or the Western and Eastern Cultural History Course, based on the curriculum after admission. ・For the Faculty of Literature, Department of Japanese Literature, oral examinations will include reading aloud a Japanese text distributed on the day, followed by a Q&A session about its content. For residents of South Korea: No need to travel to Japan for exams (a test center is available in Seoul). Registration with the Internet Application System is required before application. Internet Application System registration period: August 19, 2025 – August 29, 2025. For residents in Japan: Deadline for the first enrollment procedure: November 10, 2025. Deadline for the second enrollment procedure: March 2, 2026. For residents outside of Japan: Enrollment procedure deadline: December 2, 2025.
