| Keterangan | Residents of South Korea do not need to travel to Japan for the entrance examination (an exam venue is available in Seoul). Registration via the online application system is required prior to submitting an application. Online application system registration period: August 18, 2026 – August 31, 2026. For residents of Japan, the deadline for the first stage of enrollment procedures is November 9, 2026, and the deadline for the second stage is March 2, 2027. For residents living outside Japan, the enrollment procedure deadline is December 2, 2026. Admission for transfer students entering the third year has been discontinued starting with the 2022 academic year entrance examinations. Oral Examination: *For the Department of English, the oral examination will be conducted in both Japanese and English. *For the Department of Cultural History, questions will be asked after confirming whether the applicant wishes to pursue the Japanese Cultural History course or the Western/Eastern Cultural History course, taking the post-enrollment curriculum into account. *For the Department of Japanese Literature, the oral examination includes reading aloud a Japanese text distributed on the day of the exam and a subsequent question-and-answer session regarding its content. |
