| Remarks | 1. Miscellaneous fees vary by academic year (¥1,800,000 – ¥2,800,000). 2. An annual fee of ¥10,000 is required for associate membership in the Nihon University Alumni Association. Additionally, a fee of ¥10,000 covering the first year of full membership must be paid during the graduation year. 3. Depending on the faculty, annual fees such as support association fees or maintenance fees (ranging from ¥10,000 to ¥40,000) may be required (as of the 2027 academic year). | Remarks | ● Please note that since classes at the Faculty are conducted in Japanese, applicants are required to possess Japanese language proficiency equivalent to the N1 level of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), administered by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. ● If the passing criteria are not met, the number of successful candidates may fall short of the planned intake. ● Minimum standards have been established for the selection process; failure to meet these standards will result in rejection, even if the total score exceeds the minimum passing score (excluding the document screening stage). ● In the event of a tie in the total score, priority will be given to the candidate with the higher combined score for the essay and interview; if a tie persists, priority will be given to the candidate with the higher interview score. ● For elective subjects, questions will be set for all designated subjects; please make your selection at the test venue on the day of the examination. ● Questions for the "English" subject will be presented in either Japanese or English. Please follow the instructions provided in the questions regarding how to answer. ● Questions for the "Science" and "Short Essay" subjects will be presented in Japanese.
