Eikei University of Hiroshima announces the third window applications for the selection of international students.

We will start accepting international student third window applications on May 7. We encourage all potential students interested in applying for our program for Autumn Admissions 2024 to start looking through our Application Guidelines now!
The "Selection of International Students" consists of a document screening and an online interview.

Faculty information

A quarter of our students come from abroad

We offer bachelor’s degree in English.
You can take classes in English among students joining from various areas of the world including Japanese. We will welcome 20 international diverse students (plus about 10 exchange students) out of 100 students per class year. Multi-cultural environment both on/off campus shall enrich your experiences and respect for diversities.

SDG-oriented Liberal Arts Subjects

3 majors responding to SDGs to choose from:
・Identity Design (People/Humanities)
・Business Design (Prosperity/Economics)
・Ecosystem Design (Planet/ Natural Science (Environmental studies)

<Knowledge to be acquired>
・Thinking frameworks to figure out social issues and respect diversities in multicultural societies
・Structure of a borderless economy and society, and industrial / technological development
・Awareness of environmental conservation and biodiversity towards development in coexistence with nature
・Standards to be referred to when solving problems such as building a peaceful society or collaborating with diverse stakeholders

Project-Based Learning (PBL) as a cornerstone of Eikei Learning

PBL is a part of the curricula. "Introduction to Project-Based Learning" in the first year is compulsory for all students and it helps them to realize the knowledge and skills that they must acquire.
Students will take on PBL exercises several times in sophomore and junior years to discover factors causing certain social/corporate issues and propose solutions for them. It is designed for students to acquire abilities to discover and solve problems collaborating with others and to pursue tasks.

There are a variety of domestic and international opportunities such as study abroad programs, internships, and volunteer programs in collaboration with partner organizations.

Methodology for posing questions and seeking solutions regarding issues in society

Social system design is a methodology for setting questions and seeking answers to complicated social issues for which there are no right answers.
Learn a wide range of practical academic fields such as digital skills, logical thinking, design thinking, and systems thinking to open the way for the future.
