The application fee is 35,000 yen for the first admission period (exam administered by the university) and 25,000 yen for the second admission period (exam utilizing the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students, or EJU). 2. Tuition and miscellaneous fees vary by department (tuition ranges from 830,000 to 1,100,000 yen; miscellaneous fees range from 200,000 to 380,000 yen). 3. An annual associate membership fee of 10,000 yen for the Nihon University Alumni Association is required. Additionally, a fee of 10,000 yen covering the first year of full membership must be paid during the graduation year. 4. Depending on the faculty, an annual fee of 10,000 to 40,000 yen for the support association, maintenance fund, etc., may be required (as of the 2027 academic year). Please check the guidance page on the online application website for details. 5. To support the infrastructure for education, research, and clinical activities, the university plans to request voluntary contributions to fundraising initiatives after enrollment. 6. | Ghi chú | For the College of Humanities and Sciences, international students are eligible to obtain the qualification to take the Social Worker Examination; however, after acquiring the social worker qualification, they cannot obtain a work visa as a social worker. The English language test is required only for applicants to the Departments of Philosophy, History, Chinese Language and Culture, English Language and Literature, German Language and Literature, Sociology, and Mathematics within the College of Humanities and Sciences. A minimum passing standard is set for the oral examination; applicants who do not meet this standard will be considered unsuccessful even if their overall score exceeds the minimum passing score. *Please note that the contents of the entrance selection and examination may be subject to change.
