| หมายเหตุ | Applicants to the Graduate School of Science and Technology must contact their desired department in advance to confirm eligibility conditions and research plans before submitting application documents. For the Department of Geography, please follow the procedure below: １．Pre-contact period: August 18 (Mon) – August 29 (Fri), 2025 (applications outside this period will not be accepted). ２．Method: Send an email to the College of Humanities and Sciences Academic Affairs Office (chs.kyomu@nihon-u.ac.jp) with the following: ・Subject: “Graduate School International Student Admission – Pre-contact” ・Body: (1) Name, (2) Phone number, (3) University attended, (4) Desired department, (5) Desired supervisor ・Attachment: (6) Research plan (PDF) After confirmation, the Office will send back a “Pre-contact Form.” Please complete the questions in the form. Once your desired supervisor and research content are approved, a “Pre-Contact Confirmation Form” will be issued in about 2–3 weeks. Note that multiple pre-contacts with different professors at the same time are not permitted. １．Tuition fees vary depending on the major (620,000 yen for Geography; 750,000 yen for other majors). ２．Other fees also vary depending on the major (250,000 – 380,000 yen). ３．An annual fee of 10,000 yen for Associate Membership in the Nihon University Alumni Association must be paid. In the year of completion (graduation), an additional 10,000 yen for the first year of Regular Membership is also required. ４．Depending on the graduate school, additional fees such as Supporters’ Association Fees or Maintenance Fees (10,000 – 40,000 yen annually for the 2026 academic year) are required. For details, please refer to the guidance page on the online application site. ５．After enrollment, the University may request voluntary contributions (donations) to support the improvement of education, research, and medical service infrastructure. |
