If you wish to be exempted from the preparatory course starting in October 2026, you must submit a “Certificate of Results and Scores for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test” (N2 level or above), or a certificate of results from another examination that can prove equivalent Japanese proficiency. (Your Japanese learning history will not be used as a criterion for admission to the Modern Japanese Studies Program, but it will be considered for exemption from the preparatory course. Whether you are exempted from the preparatory course will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation, including the results of the interview.) |
