Business administration is an academic field in which students research the knowledge and skills necessary in company management (effective and efficient running and operation of an organization). Musashino University’s Faculty of Business Administration equips students with specialized knowledge of accountancy and prepares them to become individuals who will drive various organizations in the future.

■Discover management at Musashino University and learn about effective and efficient running and operation of organizations at the Department of Business Administration.
Students in the Department of Business Administration study management with a focus on the three core fields of business administration studies—management strategies, management organization, and marketing—while learning how to make use of social scientific methods of investigative research to observe, analyze, and interpret social phenomena.

■Curriculum that encourages the build-up of knowledge through interlinked subjects.
In the Department of Business Administration, students will get many opportunities to put the knowledge they learn both inside and outside the classroom to practical use through field work and project style classes. The repeated process of study, implementation, and reflection provides students with a three-dimensional acquisition of knowledge and techniques.

■Curriculum that delivers a strong foundation for students to become accounting specialists.
Students in the Department of Accounting and Governance will start by learning bookkeeping and other foundations of accounting and financial mechanisms, before gradually moving on to more specialist areas such as financial accounting, tax accounting, and auditing as they move through the school years.

In addition to accounting terminology, students in the Department of Accounting and Governance will build up tax, finance, and analytical knowledge and techniques. Academic staff members with vast experience provide integrated seminars over the four years of the course. In addition, we also provide strong support for students aiming to become certified accountants and tax accountants.
