Sociology
Focusing on the order and mechanisms of human society.
Sociology is the study of the interpersonal relationships of people living within societies, the various relationships between individuals and groups, and the frameworks of human society.
Study in sociology first and foremost focuses on identifying forms of order in society. By explaining the mechanisms for the formation, disruption, and changes of order through research at all levels of society, from friendships to nations, the relationships between people and the societies they live in can be identified. The common keyword that arises in the research of social behaviors such as collaboration, cooperation, opposition, and conflict is the concept of “order”.
Research in sociology is not confined to the study of theory; practical field studies are also carried out to investigate actual social phenomena out in the real world. Statistics also play a large role in the study of sociology, and statistical computing and other techniques are used to acquire data for further research.
