Must be eligible to obtain or renew a "Student" status of residence under the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act. 2. Must have attained a Japanese language proficiency level of B2 or higher according to the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages" (CEFR) or the "JF Standard for Japanese-Language Education" (including those expected to do so), or have completed at least 600 hours of Japanese language study equivalent to the B2 level (including those expected to complete such study). 3. Must have completed a 12-year school education curriculum abroad (or be expected to complete it by March 2027), or be recognized by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as having equivalent qualifications; alternatively, must be recognized by this university—through an individual screening of admission qualifications—as possessing academic ability equal to or greater than that of a high school graduate, and must be at least 18 years of age as of April 1, 2027. |
