Applicants are required to have scored 200 points or higher out of 450 points in the Japanese section (reading comprehension, listening/listening-reading comprehension, and writing). In place of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU), applicants may meet the application requirements by either: Passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at level N2 or above, or Meeting the criteria in the qualification certification test conducted by Soai University on October 19, 2025. In place of passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), applicants may meet the application requirements by either: Achieving the above-mentioned score in the Japanese section of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU), or Meeting the criteria in the qualification certification test conducted by Soai University on October 19, 2025. Additionally, applicants who have passed JLPT N1 will receive an extra 10 points (however, the total score shall not exceed 100 points).
