Remarks Above tuition is already reduced for 50%. This reduction will be accepted if your tuition payer's income is less than 5,000,000 yen, and you will make the procedures at admission. Note: Applicants who have passed the JLPT N1 will receive 10 additional points (provided the total score does not exceed 100 points).

Individual interview conducted in Japanese (reading aloud a Japanese text of approximately 200 characters related to the humanities, followed by an oral Q&A session regarding the text)—maximum score of 100 points. Note: 10 points will be added for applicants who have passed the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 (provided that the total score does not exceed 100 points).

Applicants must have taken the EJU in the 2025 or 2026 academic year and scored 200 points or higher out of a maximum of 450 in the Japanese subject (comprising Reading Comprehension, Listening/Listening-Reading Comprehension, and Writing). Alternatively, applicants may satisfy the application requirements by either passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at the N2 level or higher, or by meeting the required standards in the Application Eligibility Certification Test administered by Soai University (scheduled for October 18, 2026).

Submission period: until September 11. (3) Following a document screening, a notification regarding application eligibility will be sent by mail, arriving by September 25. Only those who receive a permit to apply may submit a formal application.

[Selection Process] The Japanese language proficiency required for study at this university will be evaluated through an individual interview conducted in Japanese, focusing on the content of the entry sheet and assignment report.
