Remarks The above tuition fees apply to students whose annual household income is 5 million yen or less (equivalent to 50% of the original payment). Applications must be submitted at the time of enrollment procedures after acceptance.
Applicants need to reapply each academic year. From the second year onward, the reduction rate will be either 50% or 30%, depending on the previous year's academic status (such as academic performance and credit acquisition). In some cases, the reduction may not be applied.

Remarks In place of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), applicants must meet one of the following requirements: achieving a qualifying score on the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) or meeting the standards of the Application Eligibility Certification Test administered by Soai University (held on October 18, 2026).

The "International Student Recommendation Admission (Type B)" is also conducted.

Remarks*
The university's specific examination consists of an individual interview conducted in Japanese, which includes reading aloud a passage related to either "Basic Chemistry" or "Basic Biology" (in Japanese) and demonstrating an understanding of its content. Candidates must select either "Basic Chemistry" or "Basic Biology" at the time of application. The subject areas covered are: for "Basic Chemistry," "Composition of Matter" (nature of matter, constituent particles) and "Chemical Changes" (acids and bases, oxidation and reduction); and for "Basic Biology," "Characteristics of Living Organisms and Genetic Information" (cells, DNA, metabolism) and "Human Body Systems" (body fluids, hormones, immunity). One of these subjects will be selected for the exam on the day of the test. The exam is scored out of 100 points.

Remarks**
Applicants must have taken the examination in the 2025 or 2026 academic year and scored 200 points or higher out of a maximum of 450 points in the Japanese section (comprising Reading Comprehension, Listening/Listening-Reading Comprehension, and Writing). In lieu of the Examination for Japanese University Admission (EJU), applicants may instead meet the application requirements by either passing the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at the N2 level or higher, or by meeting the standards set in the eligibility screening conducted by Soai University (scheduled for October 18, 2026).

[Application Steps]
(1) Participate in the "Comprehensive Selection Program" (report writing and mutual understanding interview) held during the Open Campus events (April 26; May 24, 31; June 14; July 19; August 2, 9, 23).
(2) Submit an entry (send the entry sheet and assigned report). Entry period: until September 11.
(3) Following a document screening, a written notification regarding application eligibility will be sent to arrive by September 25. Only those who receive an "Application Eligibility Certificate" may proceed to submit a formal application.
