Remarks Scholarship System: Ferris University offers two types of scholarships – a tuition reduction scholarship and a standard monetary scholarship.
(1) Tuition Reduction Scholarship for Self-funded International Students
--Criteria--
1. The annual income of the primary income earner must not exceed 6 million yen.
2. The recipient must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.10 from the second half of the year they enrolled.
Reduction
Recipients who do not live at home (are living at address that differs from that of their guarantor) will receive a 50% reduction to tuition and facility administration fees. Recipients will be required to make a payment of 576,300 yen to the university at the time of enrollment. They will also be required to pay 200,000 yen for admissions fees.
(2) Scholarship for Self-funded International Students
The recipient must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.10 from the second half of the year they enrolled. Recipients will receive between 100,000 and 350,000 yen per year.
