Entrance Examination for International Students – 35,000 yen
◆School Fees
Students will be required to pay 38,000 yen for practical course and approximately 20,000 yen to cover various related expenses.
International student enrollees are required to take part in the SJ (Study Japan) Program in the summer of their 2nd year, which has additional participation costs separate from tuition.
◆Scholarship System
Hosei University has several internal scholarships for international students with outstanding grades, such as the Hosei International Fund (HIF), through which selected students can receive up to one million yen.
◆Tuition Reduction System
Eligible students entering one of the undergraduate faculties from 2017 can receive a 30% tuition reduction in their first year and, depending on their academic grades, a reduction of between 20% and 40% from their second year.

[English language proficiency test]
・Only scores from TOEFL, TOEIC®L&R and IELTS examinations will be considered. Candidates should only submit results from one of these tests. Only scores of tests taken during or after September 2015 will be considered.
・There are no base pass or fail scores for English language proficiency tests.

[Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Requirements]
・JLPT scores are only accepted in lieu of EJU scores when the EJU is not administered in the country or region (such as China), and the candidate is residing in this country up until the time he/she submits their admission documents.
・Submission Requirement: Passed N1
・Only scores from the July and December 2016 and July 2017 exam sittings will be considered.
