Due to the merger of Osaka Prefecture University and Osaka City University, we do not disclose the numbers of "the number of international students enrolled in the faculty with a student visa" and "the number of international students enrolled in the faculty with a private scholarship (regardless of visa status)" as a whole.

The "Osaka residents and their children" category applies to the following people who have completed the prescribed procedures and have been approved.
Eligibility: The applicant, or the applicant's father or mother who is a member of the same family register, must have been registered as a resident of Osaka Prefecture for at least one year prior to the date of admission (in the case of April 2024 admission, prior to April 1, 2023). The same requirements apply to those who do not have Japanese nationality.

Note: Fees for the preparation of a personal laptop for study and other expenses will be required depending on the faculty or academic area.
