Introduction of Studies Other Arts

In-depth investigation of art forms other than painting and music.

Both techniques and theories of artistic expression not confined by the frameworks of the fine arts and music are explored and studied. Fields of specialization include expression through media such as photography, video, performance, writing, calligraphy, and broadcasting, as well as the study of production within these fields. Recent trends show that the numbers of students working in digital media are on the rise. Some universities have established departments in fields specializing in the use of computers for computer-generated art, most notably in fields such as media arts of the moving image.
