| Remarks | 【Application Requirements】 Applicants must be at least 18 years old as of April 1, 2026, and must satisfy all of the following conditions: ・Hold foreign nationality and possess a residence status that does not impede university admission. ・Be eligible to acquire the “Student” residence status as specified in the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act after admission. ・Have completed 12 years of formal school education in a foreign country or possess an equivalent or higher qualification. ・Have sufficient Japanese language proficiency to participate in academic activities and daily life after enrollment. ・Have taken the “Japanese as a Foreign Language” section of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) administered by the Japan Student Services Organization in June or November 2024, and be able to submit a copy of the exam admission ticket; the applicant must have a combined score of at least 180 in Reading Comprehension and Listening/Listening-Reading Comprehension, and at least 25 points in the writing section. Alternatively, passing JLPT N2 or higher also qualifies (results from previous years cannot be used). However, this requirement is waived for those enrolled at a Japanese high school or secondary school. ・For those enrolled in Japanese language schools, an attendance rate of at least 90% is required. ・Must be able to reliably cover living and tuition expenses through support from relatives or similar means. ・A reliable financial sponsor/guarantor is required. The guarantor must be a Japanese national or someone with “Permanent Resident” or “Special Permanent Resident” status as defined by the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, and must be able to provide a guarantee for tuition payment. |
