The website also provides detailed information about Yokohama National University and its faculties of YOKOHAMA Socrates Program, College of Economics, College of Business Administration, College of Engineering Science, College of Urban Sciences, and YOKOHAMA Global Education Program (YGEP). English examination	TOEFL iBT Test Date Scores 80 or above, IELTS Overall Band Scores 6.0 or above, or other conditions. For details, please refer to application guidelines.
Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)	Not necessary.
Remarks	Only scores taken after September 1, 2021, will be accepted for the English exam. Please see the application guidelines for details. This is a bilingual program in English (primary) and Japanese (secondary). Regarding Japanese skills, it is desirable that applicants also possess basic Japanese proficiency. If not, they need the strong motivation and ability to acquire Japanese proficiency after admission. Applicants must also take the SAT (Reading and Writing, Math) or ACT (English, Math, Reading, Science) and submit an official score report during the application period. For the SAT or ACT, only scores from exams taken on or after September 1, 2018, will be accepted.
