Remarks The application fee is 25,000 yen for taking the exam in Japan and 10,000 yen for taking it outside Japan (a separate bank transfer fee of 2,500 yen is required). For applicants taking the exam outside Japan, any remittance fees charged by local financial institutions must be paid by the applicant in addition to the aforementioned costs.

By submitting a "Request to Defer Payment of Tuition and Other Fees (Excluding Admission Fee)" during the enrollment procedure, payment of tuition and other fees—excluding the admission fee—may be deferred until the deadline for the second stage of the enrollment process.
