Introduction to the Department of Global Japanese Studies, Faculty of Foreign Language, Teikyo University
国際日本学科では、実践的な言語コミュニケーション能力を持ち、日本を世界に発信する能力を身につけ、グローバル共生社会が直面する課題に取り組むことができる人材を養成します。
This department will nurture students into citizens who can tackle issues facing a globally inclusive society and promote Japan to the world with practical communication skills in foreign languages and a deep understanding of Japan.
１年次から４年次までの少人数によるセミナーでは、学生同士が英語と日本語を共通言語として互いに協力し、教え合いながら学び、異文化理解能力を身につけます。
Students will gain the ability to understand different cultures as they work together and teach each other using the common languages of English and Japanese through participation in small-group seminars throughout their four years of study.
おすすめ授業：
「国際日本学入門科目」では「日本の文化」「日本の経済と経営」「世界の日本語教育」などすべての授業が、半期ごとに同じ内容で、英語と日本語で開講。「国際日本学」を学んでいく入り口の科目として、基礎的知識や情報を身につけることができます。
【Courses】
Introductory courses for Global Japanese Studies include “Japanese Culture” “Economy and Business Management in Japan” and more, which are all offered in both English and Japanese each semester. These courses will help students learn the basics of the field, as an entryway into Japanese Studies.

日本人学生は英語、留学生は日本語を学びます。
基礎日本語、語学研修(英語/日本語)、応用日本語、発展日本語などの授業を通して日本語能力の上達を目指します。
【Japanese Language Education for International Students】
While Japanese students study intensive English, international students will study Japanese. Fundamental Japanese, Applied Japanese, Language and Culture Exchange Program, and Advanced Japanese courses will help students hone their Japanese language skills.
