Academic Affairs Office/International Affairs
Substantial scholarships are available so that international students can focus on their studies with peace of mind. Eikei University has its own scholarship system with two scholarship programs: a tuition exemption of 50%, and a scholarship of 50,000 yen per month for four years. Students who receive both these scholarships can cover the enrollment fees as well as tuition. Please refer to the following link for details. With the goal of leaving no one behind, we have introduced a coaching system for each and every student. Students can consult with a coaching specialist three times in their first year. From second year, career advisors provide professional advice on future careers.
A mental health counselor is also available for psychological consultations.
International student dormitory is located on campus, so students do not need to spend a lot of time and money commuting to school. The rent is relatively inexpensive, for its location in urban Hiroshima, and in addition there is a security office for students’ safety and security.

Eikei University’s urban campus is a 10-minute walk from JR Hiroshima Station, with many commercial and cultural facilities located nearby. Students can visit 13 art galleries and museums in Hiroshima Prefecture for free by presenting their student ID card. Career Design Office supports as a hub station students' diverse career design.
Dedicated career advisors are available for career consultation at any time. Guidance is provided mainly for third-year students to learn the basics of job hunting, such as job hunting schedules, basic procedures, how to utilize internships, self-analysis, and company research.

Each student belongs to a "port", a group consisting of students and two faculty members. These “ports” provide an environment where students can feel comfortable to consult and chat freely with faculty members.

There are over 13 clubs at Eikei University including a coffee club, a dance club, and a sports club, with the number of clubs increasing. At Eikei University, students are also welcome to start up new clubs that match their own interests.

Eikei University is located in the heart of Hiroshima City, making it an urban campus with excellent accessibility from both within and outside the prefecture. Because it is also close to areas of natural beauty, it provides a good balance of city and country living.
