Remarks Partial Exemption of Entrance Fee and Tuition for International Students (Applicable to examinees regardless of residence status*)

Entrance Fee: 50% exemption of the entrance fee (125,000 yen for universities, 115,000 yen for junior colleges)
Tuition: 25% exemption of the tuition fee

Additional Exemption Based on Academic Performance:
Applicants who score 280 points or higher in the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) Japanese section (including writing) or who possess the certification of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 level will receive an additional 15% tuition exemption for the admission year only, making a total of 40% tuition exemption.

The above exemptions are applied after the initial 25% tuition exemption for the first year.

*The international student admission selection at this university is open not only to those with residence status Student but also to those with Dependent, Long-Term Resident, dual nationality, and others who meet other conditions (holding foreign nationality and having a combined total of up to six years of schooling in Japan’s elementary to high school education system).

Scholarship System for Outstanding International Students:
Up to 30% of international students in the second year and above may receive an annual scholarship of 400,000 yen or 200,000 yen. This scholarship is available only to those with residence status Student.
