All first-year students of the Faculty of Sports and Health Science and the Faculty of Medicine live in the "Keishin Dormitory (啓心寮)." This is based on the tradition of "jukufu (塾風)" that has been upheld since the founding of the university, embodying the ideal of a residential college where students live and study together.

2) If the current residence status is other than "Student," be able to change the status to "Student" at this university or be recognized through individual qualification screening.

3) Meet any of the following A through C (submit certificates or other documents for applicable items):
A. Have completed or are expected to complete a course of study equivalent to 12 years of Japanese school education outside Japan, or have an equivalent qualification designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
B. Hold one of the following qualifications:
・International Baccalaureate diploma awarded by the International Baccalaureate Organization established under the Swiss Civil Code
・Abitur qualification recognized as a university entrance qualification in the states of the Federal Republic of Germany
・Baccalauréat qualification recognized as a university entrance qualification in the French Republic
・GCE A-Level qualification recognized as a university entrance qualification in the United Kingdom
C. Have completed a 12-year course at an international school accredited by one of the following international accreditation organizations: WASC, ACSI, CIS, NEASC, Cognia, or COBIS.

4) Hold one of the following:
・N1 or N2 certification in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)
・Score of 200 or higher in the Japanese section (excluding the essay) of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)
