Launch Your Global Future at Tohoku University – FGL Applications Open
Tohoku University, a world-leading research institution with over a century of excellence, is now accepting applications for the Future Global Leadership (FGL) Undergraduate Courses.
FGL offers a four-year degree courses taught entirely in English, with no Japanese required for admission. We welcome motivated students with strong curiosity and the drive to become global leaders.
Students can apply to one of the following courses:
Advanced Molecular Chemistry (AMC)
International Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (IMAC-U)
Applied Marine Biology (AMB)
The program provides two years of guaranteed housing, and top applicants may be considered for major scholarships, including the MEXT Scholarship and the President Fellowship.
Applications for October 2026 enrollment are open January 6 noon (JST) – January 15 noon (JST).
