KUAS Internship Division Connects Students to Global Careers
Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) is bridging the gap between classroom theory and professional practice through its dedicated Internship Division. The program supports students across the Engineering, Bioenvironmental Sciences, and Global Business and Economics faculties in securing placements at leading companies.
Event Highlights: The "2025 Internship Division Results Report Meeting" took place on October 11, 2025, at the Uzumasa Campus. This massive event brought together 226 student interns and 90 company representatives, totaling 370 participants.
Global Reach: 36 students completed internships abroad in countries like the USA, Canada, China, and India, presenting their experiences in English.
Local Success: A record 52 international students completed internships within Japanese companies. Notably, many of these students challenged themselves by delivering their final reports in Japanese, impressing partner companies with their adaptability and linguistic growth. The event concluded with a networking reception, providing students with an opportunity to build professional connections and exchange business cards with industry leaders.
Community & Activities: Bond with fellow residents and ease into Japanese life with weekly planned activities designed to build friendships and help you explore.
