■ Study “Business Law” and become a bridge for trade between Japan and your home country.
Students study not only corporate M&A (mergers and acquisitions), patent related duties, and how to handle troubles, but also merchandise sales and staff employment, and other legal knowledge that is imperative to the business field. As students gain understanding of business laws, they can act as bridges for trade between Japan and their own home countries in the future.
■ Visit Japanese corporations for practical learning with “Corporate Externships.”
Taking advantage of our location at the Ariake campus with many blue-chip firms located nearby, students participate in work experience at law firms, trading companies, financial institutions, media related organizations, government agencies, NGOs and NPOs. These experiences offer students valuable opportunities to consider what actions they need to implement in order to make use of the knowledge they have gained in society.
■ Study the latest examples in each field in classes run by specialists.
We hold guidance classes run by lawyers and other legal specialists in the Department of Law. In the Department of Political Science, practical lectures are given by a faculty with a wealth of experience, to really gain an insight into the essence of political science. Students can hear directly from experts about the actual nature of their work and learn from the latest examples from each field.
