The oral examination covers the subject matter of the preliminary aptitude assessment (writing instruments may be used). Applications must be submitted via the Toyo University admissions information website. To be eligible to apply, candidates must meet one of the following Japanese language proficiency requirements: a score of 300 or higher (combined total of Reading Comprehension, Listening Comprehension, and Listening-Reading Comprehension) on the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) administered in November 2024, June/November 2025, or June 2026; or passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at level N2 or higher. Candidates must have taken one of the following English proficiency tests on or after November 2024: TOEFL iBT® (including TOEFL iBT® Home Edition), IELTS™, or TOEIC® L&R.
