New English-based Master’s degree program will be launched in the area of Sport Sciences!
Waseda University Graduate School of Sport Sciences is proud to announce that an English-based two-year master’s degree program with two areas of specialization, “Health and Exercise Science” and “Sport Management,” starts in September, 2018. Application guideline will be scheduled to be posted to our website, in December 2017.
This new program is designed to expose students to advanced knowledge in each area of specialization and exciting research opportunities in the field and/or laboratory setting. With the completion of course work and research, graduates will be prepared to apply their knowledge and experience to improve the health and wellness of their community, pursue their professional career and contribute to the world of sport sciences in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic-Paralympic Games and beyond.

At the CIE, we provide advice regarding planning and procedures for international study. Our purpose is to support international students in both their studies and everyday lives.
We provide examination of texts through one-on-one discussions with tutors who have been specially trained in writing guidance. We examine both English and Japanese texts, and can provide support at any stage, from conceptualization and drafting to final editing.
At the ICC, we hold a variety of extra-curricular events and programs to promote mutual exchange and understanding of other cultures for both Japanese and foreign students. Come here to for a chance to make friends across nationalities, both undergraduate and graduate.
At the Career Center, we provide multi-faceted career planning support for international students through events and seminars held throughout the year. Some examples include:
- Job-hunting guidance and seminars
- Joint presentations by well-known companies
- The publication of a job-hunting guidebook
- Individual counseling regarding job-hunting and future goals
