Global Culture and Communication

The Faculty of Global Culture and Communication at Aichi Shukutoku University will soon be opening the window of applications for the “Global Entrance Exam” for international students. This will be the second and final window for “Global Entrance Exam” applicants, so please be sure to take the time to go through our application guidelines if you are interested. "Confirmation of Eligibility" (which must be completed before application) is due by October 4th (Fri.) *Physical documents must reach the Admissions Center by this date.

备注	Applicants who meet either (1) or (2) below and meet all of the conditions from (a) to (c): (1) Applicants who have completed or will complete 12 years of school education in a foreign country by March 31, 2025. (2) Applicants who are recognized by this University, through an individual screening of eligibility for admission, as having academic ability equivalent or superior to that of a high school graduate, and who are expected to meet this standard by March 31, 2025 (applicants must turn 18 years of age by March 31, 2025). (a) Applicants who have foreign nationality (excluding those permitted as "Permanent Residents" and "Special Permanent Residents" of Japan) (b) Applicants who meet either (i) or (ii) 　(i) have taken one of the following Japanese language examinations and are recognized as having sufficient Japanese language ability to complete the courses. <Japanese language examinations> 　- have passed level N2 or above of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), conducted by the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES) and the Japan Foundation. 　- have scored 220 or above in Reading Comprehension, Listening, and Listening-Reading Comprehension, and 25 or above in Writing in the Japanese as a Foreign Language subject of the Examination for the Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU), administered by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). (Only EJU scores obtained from the 2nd session, held in November 2023, and the 1st session, held in June 2024 will be accepted.) 　(ii) Applicants who have completed secondary education in a country designated by this University, or those who have taken one of the following English examinations and are recognized as having English language proficiency. (Only for applicants to the Faculty of Global Communication). <English Tests> *CEFR B2 or higher. Qualifications and examinations must be obtained after April 2022: 　- Cambridge English Language Test, 160 or above 　- EIKEN Test in Practical English Proficiency (Grade Pre-1 or above, regardless of pass or fail) 2300 or above 　- GTEC (CBT, certification version) 1180 or above 　- IELTS (Academic Module) 5.5 or above (regardless of method) 　- TEAP (4 skills) 309 or higher 　- TEAP CBT 600 or higher 　- TOEFL iBT 72 or higher - TOEIC (4 skills) (IP test is not accepted) 1095 or above (c) Applicants who have a strong desire to study at this university and apply for admission as their first choice.
