There are currently approximately 4,500 students studying at the Niigata University of Health and Welfare. The totally barrier-free campus offers an array of facilities, including a student dining hall, cafeteria, convenience store and ATM etc.
A free school bus runs from the JR Toyosaka Station 33 times a day and from Nametokoro and Tayuuhama 8 times a day, between the hours of 8am and 10pm and in line with class schedules. Buses run through the popular student living areas, providing a great service to students living on their own.
Students can enjoy the changing four seasons of Japan in the inner garden, with blooming cherry blossom trees in spring and a carpet of snow in winter.
Students can also take advantage of a free training center and gymnasium.
The cafeteria offers an array of dishes, from which students can choose as much or as little as they want.
