 School Characteristic

Tokyo Foreign Language College is certificated as a specialized school since 1976, with a history of over 36 years. The school is located in Shinjuku, a central area in Tokyo. It is a 7 minute walk from Shinjuku Station. The school is comprised of 3 buidings, each 7 stories high and equipped with personal computers room, audio/visual room, library and lounge. Department of Japanese Language is a comprehensive program for international students where there are opportunities to study Japanese language and culture. It is suitable for students who want to advance to graduate schools in Japan. Every class has a class advisor, and all of our teachers have finished a Japanese Educational Training Course.
Our students mainly want to advance to universities, graduate schools or specialized colleges in Japan. During study time, we will train students to achieve fluency in Japanese which is equivalent to that of a Japanese high school graduate who is preparing to study at a Japanese university. We provide counseling for all students to assist with their selection and entry into their desired University or College. We regulaly have guidance lectures by graduated students, explanation lectures with cooperative schools and take students to specialized colleges for various high-technology lectures.

(Including application, admission, facility, seminar and materials fee, etc. No need to pay any other fee after enter to school.)  

We have dormitories "Nishi Shinjuku Palace Building", "Nishi Shinjuku Students Dormitories",etc. We probide students quiet and safety life environment. Students will have a reliable study environment, and you can raise your study efficiency.  Test and Interview Time and Place

During the application period, an oral and Japanese skill test is offered by SKYPE.

April-term students(1 year course) should apply between October 1 to December15
October-term students(1.5-year course) should apply between April 1 to July 15
