Financial support is available so that students can study in Japan with peace of mind. International students (with a Status of Residence of "Student") are exempt from paying the 150,000 yen admissions fee and will receive a 50% reduction of tuition fees, allowing them to study for just 700,00 yen per year.
Students will be lent their own personal MacBook computer free of charge for four years, available to be used for study and personal use from as soon as you start college.
Japanese language teachers are available to assist with any issues in relation to learning Japanese, and to offer support to help international students study Japanese easily. Help is available even outside of regular lesson times, so please feel free to ask the teachers if you have questions such as "I want to speak in Japanese!", "I don't understand a question on the JLPT," "I need help with my Japanese homework," or anything else related to the Japanese language.
Classes are designed to help students improve their overall Japanese language skills to the level that is required for job hunting, while assisting students to understand business manners and gain an understanding of Japanese society.
In particular, students will acquire skills they can actually use in the workplace such as business conversation skills and business manners, as well as learning about giving speeches and presentations. In addition, students will be taught to understand various usages of Japanese honorific language and expressions appropriate to the situation, and learn how to speak smoothly in Japanese.
To make it easier for students to try for the JLPT and to assist students in passing level N1 while in college, Yamanashi Eiwa College will cover half the cost of the JLPT examination fee. This will allow students to acquire a higher level of Japanese language proficiency and also create more options for their post-graduation pathway choices for further education or job-hunting in Japan.
At Yamanashi Eiwa College, we see all of our students as individuals, and provide personal career support that matches each student's unique personality and who you are as a person.
Career guidance is held almost every month for our third year international students to help with finding a job in Japan. In addition, individual career consultations are available as needed to provide assistance with job interviews and resume writing. We also hold support seminars where Yamanashi Eiwa College graduates who are working in Japan are invited to give practical advice.
