At the Faculty of Letters, Kansai University, we aim to explore the ideal image of humanity for a new era from diverse perspectives such as language and literature, philosophy and culture, history and geography, as well as education and psychology.
*From the 2026 academic year, the following majors will be reorganized into new majors:
The Aesthetics field of the Art History Major, the Philosophy and Ethics Major, and the Comparative Religious Studies Major will be integrated into the new “Philosophy Major.”
The World History Major and the Geography and Regional Environment Major will become the new “World History and Geography Major.”
The Art History field of the Art History Major, the Visual Culture Major, and the Intercultural Studies Major will be integrated into the new “Representational Culture Major.”*
