Application guidelines for admissions in October 2020 or April 2021 as doctoral students (Doctoral Students) and for admissions in Fall semester 2020 or Spring semester 2021 as special research doctoral students (Co-supervised Doctoral Study Students) under the Chinese Government Graduate Student Overseas Study Program have been released.

You can apply for the following two special scholarships if you are an international student enrolling with Japanese “College Student” visa. (Japanese nationals and permanent resident in Japan are not eligible.) The application form will be given only to the successful applicants.

To train facilitators and group leaders, and to focus on teamwork and group work among its students, all the first year YCCS students are to live in the university dormitory, Minesawa International Student Dormitory.
It is only 5 minutes’ walk from the university and the monthly fee is about 10,000 yen including rent and maintenance fee.

There are many athletic and cultural clubs that have officially registered with YNU, as well as unregistered groups devoted to many types of activities. International students are welcome to participate in clubs and groups which interest them.

The YCCS curriculum is intended to train international leaders and facilitators who will blaze new paths in the future. Once students graduate, they can expect a variety of international career options.
