Yamanashi Eiwa University is located in Yamanashi prefecture, bordering Tokyo, and is famous for its delicious water and relaxing environment with clean, fresh air. Access to Shinjuku Station from Kofu Station is easy by train (direct to Shinjuku station on the JR Chuo Line) or highway bus.
The price of rent in Yamanashi Prefecture is about 30,000 yen less per month than in Tokyo, with the average monthly rent for a person living alone about 40,000 yen. There are a variety of rental apartments for students within walking distance of the school, so students can find accommodation to meet their needs.
The cost of living in this area is also low, so students can easily keep their living expenses down and begin living alone with peace of mind.
Located in a lush natural setting surrounded by vineyards, Yamanashi Eiwa University’s campus offers stunning views of the World Heritage Site, Mount Fuji.
The campus is situated in Yokone Town, Kofu City, an area that provides a calm environment while ensuring convenience and comfort with access to facilities such as convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and medical centers.
Nearby attractions include wineries, hot springs, fruit-picking farms, experiential confectionery factories, and more. A short trip will take you to museums and amusement parks, offering plenty of enjoyable spots. This campus provides an ideal setting for a fulfilling four-year university life.
Students can call on the Academic Support Desk during lunch time or their free periods to discuss any academic related concerns with current undergraduate and post-graduate students and faculty members. For example, students can get first-hand advice from current students in relation to choosing seminars and areas of study, assignments, and coursework.
In addition, courses offered by faculty members for students to learn about report writing, such as the “Basic Academic Writing Course”, are highly recommended for students who are writing reports for the first time.
