● All classes at this university are conducted in Japanese. Applicants whose native language is not Japanese must provide proof of their Japanese language proficiency at the time of application using one of the methods listed below. Please note that as this is a correspondence university, enrollment does not qualify students for a student visa.

Submission of one of the following documents proving Japanese language proficiency:
(1) A copy of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Certificate of Proficiency for Level N1 or N2.
(2) A copy of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) score report showing a total score of 200 points or higher in the Japanese subject areas of "Reading Comprehension," "Listening Comprehension," and "Listening-Reading Comprehension" (excluding "Writing").
(Applicable only to those who took the exam in 2020 or earlier. For those who took the exam in 2021 or later, the university will verify scores via the "EJU Online Score Inquiry" system; please enter your examinee number on the "Required Documents Checklist" included in the "Application Set" (details on p. 4).)
(3) A copy of the BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test score report showing a score of 400 points or higher.
(4) A copy of a certificate of passing or a score report for a Japanese language proficiency test other than those listed in (1) through (3).

● In the Global IT Leader Course of the Faculty of Information Management, students can watch lecture videos for the Faculty's specialized courses in two languages ​​(Japanese and English). While text displayed within the online learning system—such as for credit-qualifying exams and quizzes—is in Japanese, students are permitted to use translation software at their own discretion.

[Applications from Overseas]
It is possible to take courses from overseas. However, please be sure to check the website beforehand for important application guidelines and the necessary technical requirements before submitting your application.
Communication with the university will generally be conducted via the online campus platform "@CAMPUS." We do not communicate via telephone or postal mail.
Student ID cards and various certificates can only be mailed to addresses within Japan.

[Key Points Regarding Enrollment]
1. As this is a correspondence university, enrollment does not qualify you for a student visa.
2. You can work in Japan after graduating from a Japanese language school (or similar institution) and study while employed.
3. If you have an internet connection, you can take courses from your home country and earn a Japanese degree.
*Many students are currently enrolled and studying while living in their home countries.
