Student Spotlight: Belonging in Kyoto

Daniya Tat, a first-year student from Cambodia, shares her journey of finding a sense of belonging at the university. After receiving a swift scholarship offer that boosted her confidence, Daniya moved to Kyoto to study Data Science and Business Mathematics.

Despite being in Japan for only a month, she has already formed a close circle of friends and feels at home thanks to the supportive faculty and welcoming campus atmosphere. Her story highlights how the university community helps international students transition smoothly into their new life and academic pursuits.

In the event of withdrawal from enrollment, all payments except for the admission fee will be refunded according to prescribed procedures. The application fee for Japanese-based April admissions is 35,000 yen. The admission quota is the total for both April and September admissions.
