Student Spotlight: Belonging in Kyoto
Daniya Tat, a first-year student from Cambodia, shares her journey of finding a sense of belonging at the university. After receiving a swift scholarship offer that boosted her confidence, Daniya moved to Kyoto to study Data Science and Business Mathematics.
Despite being in Japan for only a month, she has already formed a close circle of friends and feels at home thanks to the supportive faculty and welcoming campus atmosphere.
