By the time of enrollment, applicants must be able to obtain a “Student” status of residence under the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act. 2. For first-year enrollment: Applicants must have completed 12 years of schooling in a foreign education system, or possess an equivalent qualification. For second-year transfer admission: Applicants must have completed 13 years of schooling in a foreign education system, or possess an equivalent qualification. For third-year transfer admission: Applicants must have completed 14 years of schooling in a foreign education system, or possess an equivalent qualification. 3. Applicants must meet one of the following Japanese language requirements: 1. A total score of 200 points or higher on the Japanese-language section of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) administered by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), excluding the writing score; or have passed JLPT N2 or N1. 2. Possess Japanese language ability equivalent to the above. Application Period For applications submitted from within Japan, the application period is November 1 to November 6. The examination date, announcement of results, and deadline for enrollment procedures are the same as those for applicants from outside Japan. |
