Aichi Shukutoku University is a comprehensive university, with 10 faculties and 2 campuses, located in Aichi Prefecture.
The Department of Global Culture and Communication in the Faculty of Global Culture and Communication offers two majors: a Major of Language Studies and a Major of Multicultural and Tourism Studies. In addition to acquiring knowledge about different cultures, students can improve their communication capabilities using various languages and improve their analytical abilities through fieldwork and other activities.
This faculty accepts applications from individuals who have passed Level N2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).

Specialized Japanese language courses such as "Introductory Japanese" and "Academic Writing" are offered as core courses, so that even students who are not confident in their Japanese language skills can deepen their study of specialized courses while learning Japanese through these core courses.
International students from the Center for Japanese Language and Culture as well as undergraduate and graduate school international students and Japanese Resident Assistants (RAs) live together in the 3-story on-campus international student dormitory, iHouse, completed in fall of 2013. iHouse is fitted with a kitchen, tea ceremony room, Japanese-style room, study room, and a mini-lounge, with RAs and a live-in caretaker to provide daily life support so that students can focus on their studies with peace of mind.

The Career Center provides students with all kinds of consultations regarding their career paths. The Career Center has boards for students to browse job offers from companies and other materials necessary for job hunting, as well as booths for individual interviews, and offers support for each student in their individual job hunting activities, including support for the preparation stage and for obtaining qualifications, as well as providing practical know-how.
